Everest Expedition, 8850m

Having been involved in successful expeditions on 3 different routes on Everest, we decided 10 years ago to concentrate on the South Col route. Even though it is more expensive to operate on the Nepal side of the mountain, we feel it is significantly safer and has a high success rate.

Our climbing system, developed over 39 8000m peak expeditions, is designed to maximise an individual climber's opportunity to succeed and has consistently resulted in a high proportion of our team summiting. Accusations of us generally selecting good climbers in order to achieve this high success rate are well founded!

One vital part of the planning is the understanding and forecasting of weather. Our aim is always to be in a position to exploit the weather windows as they arrive. To this end we buy the services of the highly regarded Bracknell Met Office.

Their forecasts plus twenty years of himalayan experience have helped in predicting safe summiting conditions.
