Welcome to Ice 8000 - Everest Expeditions & Logistics
Ice 8000 (formerly Himalayan Guides) organizes expeditions and logistics to climb Everest, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyo and Lhotse.
We have been running expeditions to the Himalaya since 1989. During this time we have been involved in 33 successful expeditions to 8000 metre peaks and numerous successful expeditions to lower peaks.
Consequently we have an extremely experienced Sherpa team, from Pangboche in the Khumbu. Some have worked with us for the last 16 years and have multiple ascents of Everest and other 8000 metre peaks between them.
We offer a high quality of service with all the most modern facilities. Our expeditions are, however, predominantly for experienced climbers. High-maintenance trophy hunters are better served elsewhere. We feel this approach, in part, is reflected in our high proportion of summiteers.
The mountains we concentrate on are principally the 8000 metre peaks, Everest, Cho Oyu, and Lhotse. We also have an annual trip to Ama Dablam.
